"We offer him our service only to the extent that we can, and for as long as he grants us the strength. To do all we can with what strength we have, however, is the task which keeps the good servant of Jesus Christ always at work: 'The love of Christ urges us on' (2 Cor 5:14)."
(Pope Benedict XVI, Deus Caritas Est)
Thanks to the support of our donors, Catholic Mental Health provides financial support to those struggling to pay for mental health treatment. The types of treatment we can provide funds toward include:
Can you cover my entire treatment?
We have limited funds available and are not able to cover the totality of treatment but can contribute towards it. While it is our sincere hope to be able to support all applicants, at this stage it is necessary for us to prioritize applications from those whose needs are the greatest. However, each application is considered individually and we welcome applications from people with all variety of needs.
Do I need to be Catholic in order to apply for financial support?
No, not all! We believe that all people deserve the mental healthcare they need. In assessing applications we do not discriminate on the basis of religious affiliation, ethnic background, sex, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, or disability. All applications are welcome.
Please note: We are not currently open for applications.
We can't achieve our dreams without you! Become a part of the team, and build a more welcoming and supportive church for people with mental illness!
